The CMS6D181 is a three-phase medium-voltage high-speed gate driver IC designed for bridge circuits using dual N-channel VDMOS power transistors or IGBTs, and can be applied in DC brushless, DC brushed motors, and other application solutions.






The CMS6D181 is a three-phase medium-voltage high-speed gate driver IC designed for bridge circuits using dual N-channel VDMOS power transistors or IGBTs, and can be applied in DC brushless, DC brushed motors, and other application solutions.
The CMS6D181 controls the high-side driver output (HO) and low-side driver output (LO) through input signals (HIN, LIN). The internal 350ns dead-time is the minimum dead-time, and when the microcontroller’s output signal dead-time exceeds the internal dead-time, the actual dead-time will be the value set by the microcontroller. The internal VCC and VBS undervoltage (UVLO) protection functions prevent the system from turning on external power transistors at low drive voltages.
